Responsibilities:

/ Edit films using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
/ Follow film production workflows to ensure smooth project execution
/ Assist team members throughout the production process
/ Direct film and 3D cameras to achieve desired visual effects
/ Set the tone and mood through careful selection of footage and editing techniques
/ Develop scripts, plots, and storytelling ideas to enhance the overall narrative

Skills / Experience

/ Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
/ Experience working remotely and managing projects independently
/ Knowledge and interest in current video, cinema, and film production trends
/ Adaptability to changing priorities, tasks, and workload
/ Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills
/ Previous experience as a film editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
/ Understanding of various deliverable specifications, including file types, frame rates, and aspect ratios
/ Proficiency with both Mac and Windows-based systems, file servers, networking, and content management
/ Creative instincts, storytelling abilities, and scriptwriting skills
/ Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
/ Comfortable working under tight deadlines
/ Thorough understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in editing
